TTA- Laughing Out Loud

I know it's Thursday, but I'll do this TTA anyway!

Since I have had Pixie and have been sleep deprived and just plain bored, I've found that the only thing that has made me laugh has been the UK tv series "Black Books".
This is from the first episode. Bernard is trying to get out of doing his taxes by getting injured. Love it!

What makes me laugh usually besides some british comedies? Many things....including the screaming banshee on the Hallmark E-Cards...don't ask me why!

It makes me laugh when Scott's in a goofy mood. It doesn't happen too often, but it's SO funny because anything will make him laugh!

The Arrival of Pixie

So, the last photo in my pregnancy progression post was the day before I went into labor!
My water broke around 5:30pm on April 9th and I gave birth at 1:42pm on April 10th.
That was the hardest and craziest experience I've ever had!

This is how we did the delivery. It was so comforting to have Scott behind me coaching along with all the women. Unlike a lot of women I hear about, I actually told Scott that I loved him during transition. I was told afterwards that I made some people cry. They put the baby on my stomach while we waited for the cord to stop pulsing for Scott to cut it.

She came out looking so pink and perfect! 7 lbs 13 oz, 20.5 inches.

My poor baby and her black eye.

It was so fun to have her so alert right after birth. Obviously, I wasn't.

Such a proud daddy. He didn't want to let anyone else take her!

I had so much help and don't feel like I could have done it without these three women.
This is my Relief Society Pres. who is a certified midwife, but isn't practicing.
She did labor support with me.

Of course, my Mommy. The main person that got me through transition.

My sister. What else can I say? She was such a comfort.

Pixie with her Uncle.

With a her cousin.

Another cousin who completely adored her from the start.

Her only girl cousin. She thought it was pretty cool to hold a live baby doll!

TTA- Professional Help

For what activity
would you want professional lessons?

Okay. I realize that technically it's not Tuesday anymore, but it feels like it to me until 7am rolls around.
Professional lessons. How about parenting? :) As I sit here with my day and night confused 5 day old baby.
I have always wanted professional voice lessons, but if I had to pick one thing it would be an activity where I "really" needed a pro.
So, I think it would have to be either flying a plane or scuba diving.
Although, I am scared to do both....so maybe I'll stick with the voice lessons.

Tuesday Tell All - "Livin' on the Edge"

"If you could do
something dangerous
just once
with no risk
what would you do?"

No risk? That would be awesome! I never thought I was the risk taker type..until I went on my first roller coaster the same time as Kizzie did. Yes, I can relate the story she's referring to on her blog!
Since then I have loved roller coasters and those scary things...until last year on vacation in Florida. We went on the "Kraken" at Sea World and it was enough for me. I didn't ride it again! That was just around the time I got pregnant, so maybe it was my maternal instincts kicking in? Maternal=Wuss.

I have always thought that sky diving, para sailing, or doing a zip line over some jungle would be fun. I've always been afraid of deep water, scuba diving is one fear I've wanted to conquer.

What else would I do with no risk!?
Maybe I'd kiss this shark for real!

White water rafting, X Games stunts, running in a stampede, actually acting on the urge to swerve my car into a cement guard rail...
The possibilities would be endless!

How I have grown!

I thought it might be fun to see my growth stages!

Just barely starting to show.

Little bit more...

Beginning of December, 5 months.

Christmas Morning, 22 weeks and 2 days.

January. 26 weeks and 6 days.

March. Full swing into the third trimester!

April..the last month! 37 weeks and counting..

Where I've been in the USA

I thought this would be fun after seeing it on Kizzie's blog. Of course I'm not counting places where I've only been in the airport! I still have quite a few states to go!
