"Seven Things About Me That You Never Knew"

So, Rebecca tagged me with this a while ago as punishment for reading her blog post. Curse you aqua scum!!!!! I'm not sure what I'll come up with that you don't know...so humor me and forget that you already know it. Okay?

1. I can't stand it when old emails are left in my inbox. Seriously, I make a mental chore list to go through them and delete or archive them. It drives me nuts if they build up, I usually only keep one or two around if they are an important reminder for me to do something.

2. The smell of honeydew, especially rotting honeydew, makes me want to throw up. This started when I worked at a salad bar. I begged my boss not to make me cut the honeydew and she usually was pretty good about it. Although, I got so many "are you pregnant?" questions!

3. I would rather go to the dentist than the optometrist any day.

4. I feel like a total failure if I don't get to spend a good amount of time outside on a nice day.

5. I have a thing with eyebrows. I notice people and their eyebrows. It bugs me if they are too close together, but more if they are too far apart and too skinny. I always say that they appear as "little caterpillars adorning the corners of their eyes".

6. I always try to look decent. Even after having Pixie, I try to put make-up on every day or just look presentable. I feel completely crappy if I am looking like a schlep.

7. I have a hard time making decisions. I have gotten a bit better, but I found one thing that works great. I ask someone what I should do, they pick, if I don't like it...I say no and have my decision made!

A Picture Tag

So, I know I have yet to do a tag from Becca, but this one takes no brain effort! I totally need to update my blog again.
Selissa tagged me on this. The instructions are:
Go to your Documents/Pictures. Click on the 6th file. Click on your 6th picture. Post it and blog about it. Then tag six more people.
My picture isn't as funny as Sis'! This was when Pixie was around 4 months old and starting to sit up. Nova still wasn't used to the lack of attention and she was in serious need of a doggie pedicure.
I don't know that I have six people to tag! Sis took some.
Anyway, I tag....Becca, Rachel, Sam, and Megan.

Valentine's Day

So, Valentine's Day is almost over. Scott and I got to go to the movies!
I had a few things planned, I had been thinking of sweet or cute things to do for a few weeks now...then Scott goes and calls the orthodontist earlier this week and schedules to take all four of his wisdom teeth out yesterday morning. So, my food plans went out the window. I told him not to worry about getting me anything and we decided we'd have a Valentine's Day on a different day. We probably won't, but we'll do something special one day soon. I went ahead and gave him some other things anyway. This morning I gave him the new scent of Axe, Dark Temptations. It's like dark chocolate or something...yummy. I saw the ad on tv when I was at the gym (the only time I get to watch something other than our one channel!). I also gave him one of those nubby massagers. He always tries them on me in the store and asks if I like it (I don't) and then says how much he does. So, I wrote him a note saying "here's something to make you feel good, something to make you smell good, and me to make you look good!"
We decided to go to the $2 theater here and see Twilight. Neither of us have read the books yet and I think I wanted it that way. So I wouldn't be disappointed. I really wanted to see Marley and Me, but if it follows the whole book to the end, I would cry. I cried quite a bit at the end of that book! So anyway, I really liked Twilight...I think. It's one of those "huh" movies for me. I have to think about it. It was done very well though! I don't know if I'm getting to be more of a wuss or what, but it seemed really intense to me! I found myself slouched all the way down in my chair on a few occasions. It also seemed really sexually charged, without any sex at all!
Becca watched Pixie for us and then she let me borrow the first Twilight book.
Now I am at home, Scott's at work, Pixie's asleep. Last night Pixie had me up until 2am. I sure hope it's not a repeat! Some nights she'll wake up once or twice and go back to sleep on her own and sleep from 8-6:30, other nights...it's not so fun. I can't figure it out!
Oh, we got a new camera! It's a Canon Power Shot and I really like it already. I haven't figured out everything on it, but I'll be uploading pictures soon...and video for the grandparents!
Pixie finally got out of reverse last week and started crawling forward. She's really liking that and has been much more occupied during the day. Within a day or two she was cruising, but there isn't much to hold onto around here...today she pulled a chair onto herself...splat on her face. I don't like her getting hurt! She has a bruise on her cheek from face planting into the corner of the entertainment center when she tried to pull herself up on that too.

Komodo Dragon Day!

Here's a shout out to my best girls, Sam and Kizzie.
Happy Komodo Dragon Day!
Here is our lovable icon, she is grabbing her kimono and getting ready for her close up. May you have Valentine's Day in your lives, but always keep Komodo Dragon Day in your hearts!
Love you, Gals!
